Raising Eric

his first Thanksgiving was enjoyable, his uncles came over to enjoy dinner with us. Dan, Daryll, Paul and suedo uncle Tim. he had turkey and rice for dinner, the stained variety. he is getting very good at pionting at things (with his whole hand) when you ask him where things are. mommy, daddy, pictures of himself (the baby). he is also his getting good at saying dada and mom, also says flower when he sees a flower. we all went to church on saturday night, and he couldn't keep still. we did not put him in the nursery, we are triing to keep him healthy at least until his birhtday party (dec 8). at church he climbed all the way up the stairs first with mommy and then with daddy. we do not know who taught him this, because we do not have stairs at our house. hmmm. on sunday, daddy stayed home with him so mommy could go to sunday fellowship. he is sometimes taking long naps in the morning (2 hours). more later.

doctor's check up went fine, his ears are clear, and he has gained 12oz since last time, so he has gained back the weight that he lost when he was sick.

the doctor said that some kids are shallow breathers and that he should be checked for asthma is he has trouble getting over colds and coughs alot.

he went for a doctor's appointment today, to check his breathing and to make sure his ear in fection is all cleared up. Maryanne has been concerned that he beathes really shallow when he is sleeping.

he seems to be back to normal, although his eating needs to improve. he did not eat much for dinner, he does nto like the chicken noodle dinner, and then he won't eat much after that. even his favorite rice ceral he didn't each much of.
mommy gave him a bath then put him down for the night. he slept through the night and even slept in a little bit, until 7:00am. Yeh!

he woke up about 3:00am, I got up with him to soothe him back to sleep, took about 15 minutes of walking around the house.

he got up this morning, he actually slept in a little bit. he was very happy when he awoke today.

he went to the birthday party and had fun playing with all of his friends.

about 8:00pm he fell onto a stool and cut his upper gums, first trauma for us parents, blood and all. a cold wash cloth took care of the bleeding.

he didn't eat much for lunch today, I think his teeth are bothering him.

Last night he had a 101 degree temperature, We think he is teething again. His 4th tooth on the top, as well as 2 on the bottom.
He did not go to church this morning, so i went alone.

Posting for Eric, he will be one year old on Dec 8th. He is walking very good now and is getting into everything
