Raising Eric
Yesterday Eric got his first official haircut by a stylist (not mommy) In fact all of us got our hair cut yesterday, which also was the first time both Maryanne and I got one on the same day.

eric had a nasty fall again last night, he fell into the futon frame while he was hoping around. the doctor wanted us to take him tho emergency to get an x-ray of his skull. we waited there for 3 and a half hours before we got in to see the doctor. the doctor said he looked fine and put a bandage on his head. he didn't need a x-ray since he was still really active. that's an expensive bandaid.

While eating dinner the other night, he defiantly threw something on the floor after he was told not to, so he got a timeout, this infuriated him, he was crying for about 30 minutes, he would not apologize to mommy, I would go over to him every five minutes or so to calm him down and ask if he wanted to apologize, he refused so he got more time out time. He finally apologized after about 30 minutes. He is definitely two years old (terrible 2s).

Where does the time go??
Well just before Christmas he came down with the flu or something, he woke up with an upset stomach and subsequently threw-up, next following few days were tough, mommy got it for a few days, and then daddy got it, came home from work and stayed in bed for 2 days. But we were all better by Christmas Eve, and it’s a good thing because we had our annual Christmas Eve Party at our house this year.
